VINCI Airports’ Las Américas Airport and La
Isabela Airport have both received the ISO 14001:2015 certification, making
them the first airports that got the Environment Management certification.
The ISO 14001:2015 is Environmental
Certification is an ISO certificate that contains guidelines about the
management of the environment, Having this certification is a symbol for your

for saving the environment from the pollution produced by the company. The ISO
14001 Certification is an international standard that provides the
Environmental Management System (EMS).
Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM), a
VINCI Airports company, has declared that it has achieved the ISO 14001:2015 certification
from the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (Aenor) for
its environmental management system (EMS) at Las Americas International Airport
(SDQ) and La Isabela International Airport (JBQ). This Airport becomes the
first-ever airport that achieved the ISO certification of Environmental
Management, This certification helps them for managing the environmental issues
that happen because of the airports and company. This certification provides
professional training to your staff for tackling environment-related issues.
By
using this certification you can get continuous and sustainable improvement for
your company by doing the following things :

Republic to certify their environmental management system to the international

or even neutralize the impact of its action on the environment. With the

at the core of our approach. We are happy to receive this ISO 14001
certification for SDQ and JBQ, which validates that we have an environmental
management system in range with the best international practice.”
The VINCI Airports’ make the AirPact strategy, in that
they include some major thing that impacts on the environment and they give the
priority to these things like the first reducing the extra consumption energy,
Sorting the waste that generated while working, and recycling these things are
help them for getting the certification. Within 2017 and 2019, the six airports
operated by the company decreased their CO2 emissions per traveler by 20
percent, comparable to 1,500 metric weights per
year, despite the growth in travelers and actions during the session. The
AERODOM has managed the six airports with their administration and good
management, The AERODOM is part of the VINCI Airport Network since 2016. All
airports under the VINCI are part of this all commitment of environmental
management. The VINCI Network is the first network to manage 45 airports
worldwide with the aim of making them ISO 14001: 2015 certified with the good
management of the environment. These airports get the certificates for their
good management of the environment and solving all issues related to the
environments.
